Rivka Tamir
Director of Operations
Originally from Montreal Canada, Rivka moved to Los Angeles18 years ago. Rivka is a seasoned team leader in the non-profit sector who excels in philanthropy and management. At YICC, she leverages her expertise in business development and visionary leadership to drive success. She is a mother to three wonderful teenagers and in her free time she is actively involved in the criminal justice reform arena, supporting mitigation specialists.

Naz Mashal
Director of Development & Communications 
Originally from Boston, Naz moved to Los Angeles 15 years ago and has since built a successful career in finance with entertainment companies like Sony and Fox. Now, as the Director of Development & Communications, she brings her expertise to support the synagogue’s growth and mission. Outside of her professional life, she is a devoted mom to a six-year-old, enjoys hiking LA’s trails, and loves exploring new cuisines.

Claire Benyowitz
Rentals Manager
Claire joined the YICC administration with the opening of our new building in December, 2017. She coordinates all rentals of our beautiful facility and overseas special projects.
Originally from England, Claire, together with her husband Marc, an LA native, joined YICC once they were married in 1992. They have raised their three children at YICC and all were group counselors. Prior to working at YICC, Claire was the Event Manager at Maimonides Academy and Shalhevet High School. Claire enjoys spending time with her friends and traveling to see her children in New York and family and friends around the world.
